Rev. Harold P. Dixson
Biography
· Accepted the Lord as Savior at the age of 24
· Ordained as a Deacon in Jan. 1991 at Canaan Baptist Church of Christ.
· Called into the Ministry in Feb. 1991 (preached initial sermon on June 9th, 1991 at Canaan Baptist Church of Christ)
· Ordained into the Ministry on Dec. 11th, 1994 at The Solid Rock Community Baptist Church. Currently serves as The Assistant Pastor of Solid Rock.
· Member of the Board of Elders of the Covenant Christian Church Alliance, Inc. Currently serves as The Dean of Christian Education.
· Educated in Springfield Schools, attended Tenn. State Univ. and Springfield College for undergraduate studies. Graduated from Hartford Seminary in June, 1994.
· Married, Father of three (two daughters and a son)
· Outreach Case Manager for the Family Life Center/Department of Mental Health
· Currently Serves on The MLKCC Technology Committee
· Conducts Training, Tutorial and In-house Trouble Shooting and Computer maintenance
· Served 3 years in the United States Army
· Developed and implemented Solid Rock’s Computer Lab, Offers Resume Assistance, Tax-Prep. Assistance and General Computer Training.
· Chairperson of The Martin Luther King Comm. Center Annual Golf Classic.
· Hobbies include: Golfing, Cooking, Reading and Photography.
The Most important thing about Rev. Dixson is, He Loves The Lord and Loves to Preach and Teach the Word of God!
Rev. Dixson believes that the Word of God is still Good News!
